All of our cameras and lenses are by Canon. It is by far the
best digital SLR equipment in the world. We started with
the D30. Now we use the 1D Mark II, 1Ds and a D60 that was converted to
shoot infrared. I could never see us shooting film again. It's not cost
effective shooting film any longer.
The CF cards are a Delkin product. I was
introduced to these cards from the first D30 that I got about 7 years ago.
I don't know what else to say about this card except that they never failed.
JustRite brackets are the only brackets to have. I've been
using these brackets from the film days. They have a light weight bracket with
a pivot to rotate the camera and legs so you can rest it down without falling
over. They've added a little spring loaded lock to keep
the camera from drifting.
North American Photo. . . They
make me look good. Don't base your lab on price or convenience. There are processors
that you can place in your studio and they're good. I just figure that if I
have to finance a printer for 4 to 5 years that will be obsolete before I'm
done paying for it, is not a good move. Let your lab do the updating. That's
their job.
All of our prints leave the studio finished. This means either
with framing or albums. I have one book binder, Leather Craftsmen. They have a
number of different styles to choose from. A matted (800), flush mounted (300)
and a flush hingeless (3500) series are the ones I'm offering in the studio.
